Taste of the Parsha

This week’s Torah portion includes a powerful verse that speaks directly to what we’ve just witnessed:
“Arise, O G-d, and let Your enemies be scattered; let those who hate You flee from before You.” (Numbers 10:35)
Our sages teach: when the Jewish people rise up—connected, united, and grounded in their identity—G-d “rises” with us.
And when that happens, our enemies fall apart.
Not because of force, but because of presence.
Because when light stands tall, darkness vanishes on its own.
That’s what we’re seeing again today.
When we stand together—with strength, clarity, and Jewish pride—no one can stand against us.
Look through history: every time we stood firm in who we are, the world had no choice but to step back.
Our greatest victories don’t begin on the battlefield.
They begin in the heart.
In identity.
In unity.
And when that happens—even our enemies feel it.
