There are moments in the year that just feel different. Maybe it’s the breeze as summer winds down, maybe it’s the sound of the shofar that makes you pause, think about the year that’s passed, and imagine the one that’s ahead. Elul is here and it’s the perfect time to reset, reconnect, and step into the new year with hope and meaning.
In many Israeli communities, the soulful selichot prayers start right at the beginning of the month, and all over the Jewish world the shofar is sounded every day. Here in Virginia Beach, we decided to turn this special moment into an experience to share together.
This Tuesday at 7 PM, join us at Lunasea Bar for an unforgettable evening with Adi Gavison. If you were with us back in January at the kosher restaurant, you know the magic he brings the way he draws everyone in with his unique energy and music that connects straight to the heart. Now, with a moving mix of Israeli favorites and soulful selichot melodies, this is going to be an evening you won’t want to miss.
There will be delicious tastings, a warm, uplifting atmosphere, friends from all across the community including our Mayor and local leaders and the chance to raise a L’chaim together as we step into the new year.
Don’t miss it some moments are just better when we share them together.
