Chanukkah on Ice: A Joyful Celebration of Light and Community

Updated: Jan 3

Chanukkah on Ice, held on December 31st, was a brilliant way to celebrate the holiday and bring the spirit of Chanukkah to life in a unique and festive setting. Skating around a glowing LED menorah, with lively Chanukkah music filling the air, created a magical atmosphere that captured the joy of the Festival of Lights.

The event featured delicious hot donuts, crispy latkes, and cozy bonnet distribution, keeping everyone warm and satisfied as they enjoyed the festivities. Adding to the fun, Judah the Maccabee was there to entertain the kids, dancing along with them and spreading extra holiday cheer.

It was heartwarming to see so many families—both familiar faces and newcomers—coming together to celebrate, share in the holiday joy, and connect with one another. Judah’s lively presence made it even more memorable for the children, adding excitement to an already joyous occasion. This celebration was not only a fun way to mark Chanukkah but also a wonderful opportunity to build new connections within the community. The energy and warmth of the evening reminded us all of the power of unity and the joy of celebrating traditions together.

We’re already looking forward to making more memories at next year’s Chanukkah on Ice!
