A new identity is taking shape — and you’re part of it
You may not have noticed it at first glance, but for the past few months, we’ve been working hard — very hard — on something special: building a clear, meaningful brand identity for our Chabad House here in Virginia Beach.
We’re not just talking about nicer graphics or a fresh logo. This is about creating a voice, a style, and a feeling that reflect who we truly are: a welcoming, vibrant Jewish home for every Jew — warm, grounded, spiritual, and real.
🎨 Can you guess our new official colors?
Here’s a little clue: picture the Virginia Beach shoreline — the deep blue of the ocean, and the soft golden sand.
That’s right — ocean blue and sandy beige.
They’re not just pretty colors.
The ocean represents depth, movement, spirituality.
The sand represents grounding, home, and stability.
Together, they speak to what we’re all about: bringing together soul and life, heaven and earth.
⸻
Now it’s your turn — we want to hear from you!
As we plan for the upcoming year, we’re asking a big question:
What programs and ideas can help us grow — not just in quantity, but in reach?
We’re not just looking to add another “fun event.”
We want to create real opportunities — experiences that open the door for new people in our city, especially those who’ve never been part of any Jewish community before, to feel seen, welcomed, and inspired to connect.
💡 Do you have an idea? A need? A suggestion?
We’re listening.
Send us a message, talk to us after a class or service, or shoot us an email. Your voice matters — and could help shape the future of our community.
⸻
Let’s keep building together —
not just a beautiful Chabad House,
but a Jewish community that’s alive, growing, and ready to welcome every soul still out there, waiting to be found.
