A Jewish Shift, And You’re Looking at It.

ree

For years, the Jewish story in Virginia Beach felt like it was fading. Disconnection. Shrinking identity. Fewer people feeling like they belong. But today, something is changing and fast.

Chabad Virginia Beach is building a new future one where every Jew can find meaning, community, and pride in being part of something bigger.

You don’t have to be religious. You just have to want to connect.

We’re creating programs that meet people where they are not where we expect them to be. From music nights and social gatherings, to our new Young Professionals Circle and 50+ Circle launching this year with regular events we’re building spaces where people can feel Jewish joy and community again.

And there’s more: additional circles and meaningful programs are part of this year’s plan. If you’re curious, we’d love to share the full vision with you.

The wall you see here? It’s not just names. It’s a before and after. The first photo was just a month ago. The second today. More people are joining our monthly giving circle because they believe in this vision. They want to see it grow.

And we’re still building. Right now, we’re working on expanding the team, reaching more Jews who don’t yet have a place to belong, and offering real value through connection, joy, and purpose.

If you haven’t yet heard the full vision we’d love to share it with you. And if it speaks to you, we invite you to consider joining one of our monthly giving circles. Together, we can keep this shift going.
